This Privacy Policy describes how Yelow Inc. ("Yelow," "we," "us") collects,
uses, and shares information in connection with our websites, dashboards, and
AI-powered voice and messaging services (the "Services").
1. Information We Collect
- Account information. Name, business name, email address,
phone number, and login credentials when you create an account.
- Communications data. When our Services handle a call or text
message on a customer's behalf, we collect the content of that communication,
including audio recordings, transcripts, message text, caller ID information,
and call metadata (time, duration, phone numbers involved).
- Business information. Information about businesses, including
publicly available business listings and information our customers provide to
configure the Services (for example, hours, services offered, booking
preferences).
- Usage and device information. Log data, IP address, browser
type, and interactions with our websites and dashboards.
- Payment information. Processed by a third-party payment
processor; we do not store full payment card numbers.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, secure, and support the Services, including answering and
placing calls and messages on our customers' behalf;
- create recordings and transcripts of communications handled by the Services
and make them available to the customer the communication concerns;
- maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Services;
- communicate with you about your account, including transactional emails;
- detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and
- comply with legal obligations.
3. Call Recording and AI Processing
Communications handled by the Services may be answered or placed by an
automated, AI-powered agent and may be recorded and transcribed. Our business
customers are responsible for providing any notice of recording required where
they operate. Audio and transcripts are processed automatically to provide the
Services.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only with:
- Service providers that process information on our behalf to
deliver the Services (such as cloud hosting, telecommunications, AI
processing, payment, and email providers), bound by obligations to use it
only for providing services to us;
- Our customers, who receive the recordings, transcripts, and
related data for communications the Services handled on their behalf;
- Legal and safety recipients, where required by law, legal
process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Yelow, our users,
or others; and
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale
of assets.
We do not sell personal information.
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for
promotional or marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply
with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customers
may request deletion of recordings and transcripts associated with their
account.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to
protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure,
and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices
- You may access and update account information through your dashboard.
- You may opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in those
emails; we may still send transactional or account-related messages.
- To request access to or deletion of your information, contact us at support@yelow.io. If your information
was collected through a call or message handled for one of our customers, we
may direct your request to that customer.
8. Children
The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to children
under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. State-Specific Disclosures
Some U.S. states impose specific requirements on how personal information is
protected and how breaches are reported. We comply with the data-security and
breach-notification laws that apply to the states where our users and the
individuals whose information we process reside. If a security breach affecting
personal information occurs, we will notify affected individuals, and any
regulators where required, in accordance with applicable law.
- New York residents. We maintain reasonable safeguards and
provide breach notification consistent with the New York SHIELD Act (General
Business Law §§ 899-aa and 899-bb).
- Arizona residents. We provide breach notification consistent
with Arizona's data-breach notification law (A.R.S. § 18-552).
- California residents. We provide breach notification consistent
with California Civil Code § 1798.82. To the extent the California Consumer
Privacy Act (as amended, Cal. Civ. Code §§ 1798.100 et seq.) applies to us,
California residents may exercise the access and deletion choices described in
Section 7. As stated above, we do not sell personal information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version
with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice.
Material changes will not apply retroactively to previously collected
information without consent where required by law.
